HI! My name is Dr. Heather Freedlund, D.C. from Winnebago, IL. If the thought of making $50,000 a year (never mind a month) as a DC in your own practice has you shaking your head in awe thinking, “If I could just earn a fraction of that, “ then this letter is just for you. You see, it wasn’t long ago that I remember graduation day, clutching my diploma, pregnant with my first child Natelie, and thinking that the only way to have a family and practice, was to be an associate. As a female DC, my options were limited…or so I thought. After going through fear, hopelessness, even getting fired and the humiliation that followed, I finally decided it was time to invest in myself and hire a coach that I could believe in.
From using The New Renaissance’s patient education, turn-key, and easy-to-use system, I was able to move from the bottomless pit of debt, to a very financially rewarding practice…all the while getting to spend more and more time with my family. Now, I too, am on a mission to ignite that inner voice for other Female DC’s and help them reach their full potential.
As women our lives are busy. If you don’t stop and take the time to see your life as you want it to be your life will move forward without you. You may find you are overwhelmed because of all the hats you are asked to wear. As women, we wear the hat of mother, daughter, lover, nurturer, business owner, and last but not least chiropractor. How do you wear all those hats while remaining true to the absolute beauty, power, grace, heart and spirit that it means to be a woman and be true to yourself? And, how do you find the time?
Where do you want to be in at the end of 2011? What about at the end of 2012? Do you have the plan and the support to make it happen? When you look back on the past year, are you where you thought you would be? I talk to many women who are telling the same story from years past, they are stuck. I have had conversations with them and they will say “I don’t want to be complaining about the same things this time next year.” Is that you? If it is, it is time to invest in yourself.
