The Myth of the Mysterious Shrinking Practice
“I went to postgraduate seminars to learn more and to be a specialist chiropractor. These certifications were important to me, but to the public, they were an alphabet soup of gibberish. I had so much to offer and couldn’t attract the kind of patients who would appreciate my gifts. It wasn’t until I joined TNR that I could translate that expertise into a thriving practice that attracts patients near and far who respect what I do, follow my recommendations and refer other like-minded patients. If you feel you have lots to offer the world but you aren’t making much of an impact, then check out TNR. They can help you learn to communicate and educate your patients and they will inspire you to be the superstar chiropractor you’re destined to be!”
Your overhead continues to grow, quality new patients are harder to come by, and patients come in for shorter periods of time while expecting bigger improvements. Have you noticed more resistance to your marketing or promotional activities?
While it may be true that the average DC is in trouble with a shrinking practice, motivated, ambitious DCs who know they have lots to offer the world are knocking it out of the park. More DCs are learning how to be contrarian DCs: practicing the way they choose to and becoming hugely successful. There has never been a better time in history to be a specialized DC, welcoming kids, wellness and difficult cases into your office.
Most DCs that we help can expect to increase their practices by 2, 3, 5, 10x if they refuse to buy into the myth of shrinking practices or what DC’s they know are saying.
Some things that you might like to know:
- People who understand you are a specialist will gladly pay you inside or outside of insurance.
- The most undeserved niches are wellness, kids, difficult cases, and people that have fallen through the cracks.
- Parents are desperately searching for doctors who refuse to give up on their kids and have the chops to deliver the goods
- Average DCs (a face in the crowd) have very little value to a millennial
- You don’t need an advanced degree or technique to be hugely successful
- Some DCs only have a retention rate of a few visits while others have retention rates of 30, 60 or even a hundred visits?
- Believe it or not, people don’t base their loyalty on results only
- Lots of great DCs don’t have practices that reflect their true talents and abilities.
You’re done settling for playing small, but you are also feeling overwhelmed, drained and exhausted from the enormity of your debt, frustration and situation. If you are honest with yourself, you are lost with how and where to start making the changes you need. You know you need a coach, but which one? Many have tried the impersonal, cookie cutter online coaching and have experienced its fatal limitations and shortcomings. One thing you know for sure: you have individualized concerns and only individualized solutions will get you to where you want to be. You need someone in your corner to guide you every step of the way. You need someone who will take the burden and responsibility away from you and allow you to do what you do best: be the doctor.
The thought of spending one more day without taking action is not an option. You know you’re capable and deserving of a much bigger practice, but the commitment required is both daunting and uncomfortable. It has paralyzed you for all so long. The choice is clear and the clock is ticking: get the right kind of help now or continue to suffer the consequences
Training DCs to become once in a lifetime DCs is an honor and a privilege for Dr. Kevin. If you are done playing small, click or call to begin the adventure of your life.
