Profiles in Courage
Who can you turn to in these times of uncertainty?
Is this your story?
“I just got off the phone with you where I asked you about my daughter’s nightmares. I want to thank you for taking the time to help me with the issues I have. I feel so lucky to have you in my life. It inspires me to be the person that I want to be and need to be. I look up to you way more than you probably even realize. True people are not that common. Your WHY is so obvious to me - I don’t understand how anyone can miss it. Keep it burning.”
I hear it almost every week: the sad story of a Chiropractor being betrayed or let down by a coach entrusted to help them. It’s more common than you might think.
Today, we see so many substitutes and imitations for coaching. Some are cookie-cutter, online marketers, profit over people, and, of course, sales tactics.
TNR has always been about developing the individual. Potential is such a horrible thing to waste when it remains dormant and undeveloped. The ability to translate this potential into results is called transformation. Everyone will notice the difference, including practice members, spouses, kids, parents, etc.
Blending humanitarian values, clinical results, and 3,5,10x the economics is a lost art.
Popularity today dictates finding new patients to replace all the departing ones. Patient education and retention are dirty words and are discouraged.
Zoom is good for so many non-essential tasks and meetings. It doesn’t create the foundation of a relationship. Developing a relationship of trust and an emotional connection are essential and can’t be formed on Zoom.
Every new TNR member will have a Head-to-Head within two weeks of joining our program. The member flies to Massachusetts to spend the day training with me. We start the day off with a scrumptious breakfast and get to know each other. Both parties benefit from getting to see how the other person communicates. After seven or more hours of training, a bond of trust forms that will transcend all of their practice woes.
Without this face-to-face meeting, I would not be able to guide and help that individual.
New technologies come and go, but face-to-face communication still reigns supreme with essential things.
You went to college for nine years to become a Chiropractor. If you invested all that time, money, and resources, it’s no time to cheap out with watered-down coaching or digital coaching.
